Innovate Cadre

The objectives of the Innovate Cadre are to:

  • Encourage teachers to understand and develop the skills for the most effective techniques for teaching the 21st Century Learner

  • Facilitate conversations in home districts about these concepts

  • Provide a cost-effective way to begin to change the conversation about education

 

Guidelines:

  • Two teachers from each member district. Contact us if you’d like to send more.

  • Teachers will be encouraged to share information gained to at least three colleagues.

  • The end of year focus will be to implement one of the ideas.

  • Teachers choosing to complete a project are eligible for three hours of Graduate Credit.

  • Cost of the cadre is FREE to member districts. ($1500 Non-Member).

  • Districts pay the substitute costs and mileage. The Service Center is diligently pursuing grant opportunities in-district costs, materials, stipends and technology.Principals encouraged and invited to attend ½ day each semester.

  • A PLC model will be used for Lunch-time Book Studies. Books will be provided for participants.
