Chaparral High School is located in between Anthony and Harper Kansas. The Cross Country team is planning to go to an altitude training camp in Colorado in July.

The Harper County Health Foundation is an exemplary leader in rural communities by serving and engaging families to achieve complete wellbeing. They support wellbeing by identifying needs and providing resources, utilizing strategic leadership and partners to achieve community quality of life and be a model for rural America.

Friends of the XC team and the HCHF decided to partner together to support the team's health endeavors and provide more attention to county-wide health at the same time!

EVENT LOCATION:

Registration in Chaparral parking lot
Race will be on the new course snaking through Chaparral and Patterson Health properties
Plans are to create a permanent 5K course for the county to use with signage created by CHS classes

FEES for Runners:

$25 fee, $30 on the day
Runners receive a t-shirt and breakfast
